Privacy Policy

Overview
3DPrintDash, operated by Benyamin Neil Louwrens, a California sole proprietor doing business as 3DPrintDash (registered fictitious business name "3D Print Dash"), respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and who we share it with when you use the 3DPrintDash marketplace.
This policy — together with our Terms of Use and Cookie Policy — applies to BOTH our marketing website (www.3dprintdash.com) and the 3DPrintDash application. They are one service operated by the same business; we run them as two sites only for technical and performance reasons, and your data, cookie, and privacy choices carry across both.
Information we collect
Account: your email address, and your name if you sign in with Google.
Orders (customers): the 3D model files you upload, your order and quote details, and the shipping address you provide at checkout.
Operators: your ship-from address, the printers you register, verification photos, and payout details handled by our payments provider.
Automatic: basic technical data needed to run the site (e.g., session/authentication cookies and standard server logs).
Source-protection logging: the design and code of this site are proprietary. If you attempt to save the page, view its source, or open developer tools, we record that event — including your IP address, browser/user-agent, the page, the time, and your account if you are signed in — as a security and anti-infringement measure. (Right-clicking is not logged.)
How we use your information
To create your account; produce, match, and ship your orders; process payments and payouts; send transactional messages (such as sign-in links and order updates); prevent fraud and abuse; provide support; and meet legal obligations.
How we share information
With the assigned operator: to fulfill your order, the operator receives what they need to print and ship it, including your shipping address. The operator's ship-from address appears as the return address on the package, so it is visible to the customer.
With service providers that run the platform: Supabase (database, authentication, file storage), Stripe (payments and operator payouts), Shippo (shipping rates and labels), Resend (transactional email), and Google (if you choose Google sign-in). These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms.
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.
Google sign-in
If you sign in with Google, Google shares your basic profile information (such as your name and email) with us so we can create and access your account. Your use of Google sign-in is also subject to Google's privacy policy.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the site. We do not use them for third-party advertising.
Data retention
We keep your account and order information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution requirements. Uploaded model files are retained only as long as needed to fulfill and support your order.
Source-protection logs (above) are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted, except where we have placed a hold to detect, prevent, or address suspected misuse of our intellectual property, or to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim — in which case the relevant records are retained for as long as needed for that purpose.
Your privacy rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Signed-in customers can request deletion from the Account page (“Your data & privacy”), or you can contact us. We process deletion requests manually, in the order received.
When we delete your information we remove your uploaded files and anonymize your personal details. We may retain certain records in anonymized or limited form where the law allows or requires it — for example to complete a transaction, keep tax and accounting records, prevent fraud or misuse, comply with legal obligations, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. This means a deletion request does not erase records (such as source-protection logs) that we are entitled to keep to defend our rights.
We do not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and share it, to request a copy of it, to request its deletion, and to request correction — subject to the exceptions described above. We do NOT sell or “share” your personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that would require an opt-out. To exercise a right, use the Account page or contact us; we will verify your request and respond within the time allowed by law. Other U.S. state privacy laws provide similar rights, which we honor on the same basis.
Security
We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your data protected.
Children
The service is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy; the version and date above will change. Material changes will be reflected here.
